Brianna Hatzell, RN, Recognized as an Extraordinary Nurse

Brianna Hatzell, RN, an OB nurse, formerly working in the ER at Jones Memorial Hospital, was recently honored with The DAISY Award® For Extraordinary Nurses. The award is part of the DAISY Foundation's programs to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform every day. 

JMH Awarded For Efforts To Improve Rural Heart Attack Care

Jones has received the American Heart Association’s Silver Recognition Get With The Guidelines ®  – Coronary Artery Disease Rural Recognition for its commitment to offering rapid, research-based care to people experiencing a specific type of heart attack known as an ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), known to be more severe and dangerous than other types of heart attacks.

Jones Memorial Hospital has been received the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® Silver Performance Award for the care they provide stroke patients, as outlined by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association®.
