UR Partnerships
The Warner School of Education's Center for Professional Development and Education Reform, jointly funded by the IHHE pillars, is offering a professional learning opportunity for secondary STEM teachers. This opportunity will allow teachers to learn and develop student-centered learning experiences exploring the relationship between air quality and health.
Community Partnerships
In 2022-2023, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation conducted a Community Air Monitoring Initiative in ten communities across New York State, including Rochester. The IHHE is co-convening the effort to disseminate these results, identify new research questions, and inform solutions to air quality issues in Rochester.
