Nutritious Meals
Our recipes and menus are designed by a registered dietitian. Meals are lower in sodium and fat than many commercially-prepared options and each meal provides one-third of the daily dietary reference intake of nutrients. We also offer low lactose, ground, no concentrated sweets, and kosher options.
Friendly Visits
Meals are delivered by screened, compassionate, and caring volunteers who are always ready with a pleasant greeting and a warm smile.
Safety Checks
Volunteers notify office staff if a participant doesn’t come to the door to accept a meal or if something seems amiss. Office staff, in turn, will notify a participant’s emergency contact – a local family member, friend, or neighbor – of the situation. Gives peace of mind to loved ones who can't always be there.

Medicare and most private insurance plans do not cover the cost of meals.

Financial Aid
Financial aid may be available for those individuals who find paying the full cost of meals difficult, are unable to shop for or prepare meals, have chronic medical conditions, and lack family or community support. Many recipients of financial aid receive meals at no cost, but are encouraged to make a suggested contribution based on their personal financial situation. There is often a waiting list for this program.
