The BBC provides support and education for data science, biostatistics, bioinformatics, and computational biology to EHSC investigators to help advance environmental health (EH) research.  The overall mission of the BBC is to foster self-sustaining collaborations between BBC team members and other EHSC faculty to advance EH sciences research and to advance biostatistical and bioinformatical methods relevant for EH research.

The BBC team is directed by Dr. Sally Thurston.  The other team members are Dr. John Ashton, Ms. Jen Becker, Dr. Tanzy Love, and Dr. Matthew McCall.   The academic home of team members is the Department of Biostatistics and Computational Biology (Thurston, Love, McCall) or the Genomics Research Center (Ashton, Becker).
