AAI Public Policy Fellow Program
From the AAI Public Policy Fellow Program site: The PPFP provides early-career researchers, including postdoctoral fellows and assistant professors, who are committed to a career in biomedical research, with the opportunity to learn about and participate in the public policy and legislative activities of AAI. Up to 10 Fellows are selected to participate annually. Fellows serve from May 1st of their selection year to April 30th of the following year.
AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellowship (1-2 years)
From the site: AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowships (STPF) provide opportunities to outstanding scientists and engineers to learn first-hand about policymaking while contributing their knowledge and analytical skills to the federal policymaking process. Fellows serve yearlong assignments in the executive, legislative and judicial branches of the federal government in Washington. Each year, the program adds to a growing corps over 3,000 strong of policy-savvy leaders working across academia, government, nonprofits and industry to serve the nation and the world.
Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Fellowship (12 weeks)
Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Fellowship: A spring fellowship, for graduate students or postdocs, at the National Academies of Science. Fellows are matched with a mentor and spend 12 weeks learning about the world of science and technology policy.
