PGY2 (R1)
All Rotations at Strong Memorial Hospital. Vacation (up to 20 days) is flexibly scheduled, typically no more than one week per block at a time. Research is done on the residents’ own time. Residents take DR call during DR rotations, and IR call when on Interventional Radiology rotation

PGY-6 (R5)

Electives
Electives are meant to broaden the trainee's education. Options include clinical rotations such as Transplant, Hepatology, additional ICU rotation, GI, Diagnostic Radiology and its subspecialties.
Evaluations
Resident performance is regularly reviewed to ensure satisfactory progress. Informal feedback from attendings with respect to medical knowledge, reports, diagnostic and therapeutic imaging plans is given. Formal written evaluations are completed by attendings, fellows, and all residents at the completion of each rotation.
Each resident meets with the program director at least semiannually to review performance.
Participation in the annual American College of Radiology In-Service Examination is required during the first three years of residency. This test provides an external benchmark to guide the Resident in their study. In the IR years, the faculty organize a Mock Oral Boards session for the seniors.
