Michele Burnter, CNM, MS, MPH, IBCLC

Our 2018-2021 fellow graduate is Michele Burnter, CNM, MS, MPH, IBCLC, currently Associate Medical Director of Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine at URMC. Ms. Burtner runs the outpatient clinic at Lattimore Rd, participates extensively in clinical education and is a founder of the national group MILC (Midwives in Lactation Consortium). Her research focuses on appropriate management of tongue tie and its impact on lactating parents.
