Cancer Survivorship
Who is a cancer survivor?
A cancer survivor is anyone diagnosed with cancer, from the time of diagnosis through the balance of life.
At Wilmot Cancer Institute, we recognize that survivorship is a unique journey that begins at diagnosis and continues through treatment and beyond. Whether you are currently in treatment, living with cancer as a chronic condition, or in remission, we are here to support you.
Our Commitment to Survivors
Our mission is to support cancer survivors with expert care and follow-up to help catch any problems early and reduce long-term side effects from treatment or future cancers.
We believe every survivor deserves a comprehensive, compassionate, and coordinated approach to care. Our goal is to help you move forward with confidence by providing the support and resources you need to thrive.
Getting Started with Survivorship Care
Getting started in our Survivorship Program is simple. In fact, as a patient at Wilmot, it happens as a regular part of your care. As you near a change in your treatment plan, your oncology team will help guide you by scheduling a transition or survivorship visit.
