What to Support

The Vascular Surgery Research Fellowship is an endowed fund which will ensure that resources always exist to support trainee research. Fellows work alongside world-class faculty to conduct basic, translational, and clinical research. They learn how to be surgeon scientists and gain the skills necessary to become leaders in academic surgery.

The Dr. James Arville DeWeese Endowment was created to honor Dr. DeWeese, who had an indelible impact on the advancement and creation of vascular surgery as a field within medicine. This fund helps to provide our residents with opportunities to attend and present at national conferences and gain value workforce experience in a collaborative team environment.

The Division of Vascular Surgery Gift Fund supports the annual programming for the vascular surgery team. Gifts play a critical role in improving the quality of life for our patients, support our research endeavors, and provide educational opportunities for the next generation of vascular surgery clinician-scientists.
