Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics is committed to building an inclusive culture that improves the patient, faculty, staff and fellow experience within our division.

Vision

At Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, we aspire to foster an equitable and inclusive environment, that embraces the voices of all who in which we provide care and education. As leaders in the field of developmental medicine, we believe that diversity is the catalyst in which we can achieve equity and excellence.

Our Values

We will hold ourselves accountable to these values in the design of our programs, the development and delivery of our services, the evaluation of performance, and the ways in which we interact as a community (taken from the Office of E & I; alignment with greater URMC).

  • Meliora - We strive to be “Ever Better” for everyone
  • Equity - We commit to diversity, inclusion, and access.
  • Leadership - We take initiative and share responsibility for exemplifying excellence.
  • Integrity - We conduct ourselves with honesty, dedication, and fairness.
