Dr. Ellen Poleshuck

Ellen Poleshuck, Ph.D., is Professor of Psychiatry and Obstetrics/Gynecology and Academic Chief of the Division of Collaborative Care and Wellness at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She serves as Director of the Program for Mental Health and Gender Wellness in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Poleshuck is a licensed clinical psychologist and a certified marriage and family therapist. Dr. Poleshuck’s research focuses on the development, evaluation, and implementation of integrated treatments for ob/gyn patients with depression and co-occurring concerns such as pain, intimate partner violence, and unmet social needs.

Dr. George Nasra

Dr. Nasra is Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at URMC where he serves as Chief of the Division of Collaborative Care and Wellness, and Medical Director of Behavioral Health Partners. Dr. Nasra received his Masters of Science in molecular biology and his MD degrees from the American University of Beirut. He completed his psychiatry residency at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and a member of the American College of Psychiatrists. Dr Nasra is Board Certified in General Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine. After 20 years as a psychiatrist, Dr. Nasra enrolled in the executive MBA program at the Simon School of Business and graduated with an MBA in 2013.

Dr. Nasra's career interests include collaborative and integrated care as well as increasing access to psychiatric services and reducing stigma for mental health. He is dedicating his time currently to developing new models of care integration between psychiatry and other areas of medicine, as well as developing and marketing novel employer based psychiatric services.

Dr. Hochang Benjamin Lee

Hochang Benjamin (Ben) Lee, M.D. is the John Romano Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, Chief of Psychiatry at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, and Regional Chief of Psychiatry for the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Prior to his chairmanship at University of Rochester, he was the founding director and Chief of Yale's Psychological Medicine Service, at Yale New Haven Hospital's York Street and St. Raphael campuses. He also directed Yale's Psychological Medicine Research Center. Previously, he had also been Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and Director of Research Development at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

His primary research interests are: 1. Developing innovative models for delivery behavioral health service for medical and surgical patients. 2. Prevention of neuropsychiatric morbidity (e.g. delirium, depression, and dementia) after major surgery among the elders. Dr. Lee is also an expert in psychiatric aspects of restless legs syndrome, and Asian American mental health issues.

Dr. Lee is board certified in psychiatry with sub-specialty certification in psychosomatic medicine. His primary clinical interest is in behavioral aspects of dementia care, especially among those elders with multiple medical comorbidities. Dr. Lee completed psychiatry residency and combined neuropsychiatry/psychiatric epidemiology fellowships at Johns Hopkins after earning his MD at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 1997.

Dr. Lee is the incoming Editor-In-Chief for Psychosomatics (2021) and the President-Elect of International College of Psychosomatic Medicine (2022).

Stephanie Bruder

Stephanie Bruder, MHA, MS, is an Administrator in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Serving as one of the Administrators, she assists with the day to day operations over the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program, Mobile Crisis Team, and Crisis Call Line Team.

Dr. Mark Oldham

Mark Oldham, MD, is an assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). He completed psychiatric residency at Boston University and fellowship training in consultation-liaison psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine. After training he joined the faculty of Yale-New Haven Hospital where he directed the proactive C-L service known as the Behavioral Intervention Team. In late 2017, he transferred to URMC where launched the proactive C-L service known as PRIME Medicine. At URMC he has co-developed resources on catatonia assessment (https://bfcrs.urmc.edu/) and, in collaboration with the Age-Friendly Health Systems initiative, leads an interdisciplinary team across URMC that aims to improve the care of patients with and at risk for delirium. He currently serves as treasurer of the American Delirium Society and deputy editor of the Journal of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. Dr. Oldham is supported by a K23 award from the National Institute on Aging to develop research expertise in the relationship between sleep/wake disturbance and cognition, including both delirium and subsequent Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
