High-Risk Obstetrics
Our multidisciplinary high-risk obstetrics team has the clinical training and expertise to diagnose and treat the wide array of factors that can lead to a premature or complicated delivery.
Risk Factors
Chronic health problems—such as cardiac disease, epilepsy, and thyroid disease—require specialized care for pregnant people. These pre-existing conditions may also lead to other issues developing for the pregnant person during the gestational period. These conditions—such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and gynecological cysts or tumors—are treated by our board certified obstetrics and clinical caregivers. Fetal specialists are also available to address structural, functional, or genetic abnormalities.
Patient-Centered Focus
UR Medicine Maternal-Fetal Medicine delivers coordinated care through an integrated, patient-centered approach. You can be assured that there is a method for managing every complication, common or rare, delivered through a plan of care personalized for your specific needs.
