Movement Disorders Fellowship

Jamie Adams, M.D.
Program Director

The University of Rochester is home to a well-established movement disorders center with a strong record of developing leaders in clinical care, education and research. Our fellowship builds a solid foundation in clinical movement disorders while offering opportunities for research and academic development, tailored to the individual fellow’s interests and career goals. We offer a one- year clinical fellowship, which can be extended to two years to include further clinical and/or research training. Clinical schedules are developed to ensure that fellows have sufficient experience and training to develop all clinical proficiencies expected of a well-trained, independent movement disorders specialist. We offer a particularly rich environment for research training and provide our fellows with support, mentorship, and opportunities to develop research interests and careers. Education is a top priority and our fellows actively participate in weekly didactics including journal clubs, video rounds, and guest lectures.
