JMH Awarded For Efforts To Improve Rural Heart Attack Care

Jones has received the American Heart Association’s Silver Recognition Get With The Guidelines ®  – Coronary Artery Disease Rural Recognition for its commitment to offering rapid, research-based care to people experiencing a specific type of heart attack known as an ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), known to be more severe and dangerous than other types of heart attacks.

Ribbon Cutting Held For The New Neurology, Rheumatology and Infusion Center

Jones Memorial Hospital held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, August 8 at 2pm to celebrate the opening of the $1.5 million neurology, rheumatology and infusion center in the Medical Office Building at 7309 Seneca Rd N in Hornell.

Jones Memorial Hospital has achieved a 4-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the federal agency that provides health coverage to more than 160 million Americans though Medicare, Medicaid and the Health Insurance Marketplace. CMS works in partnership with the entire healthcare community to improve quality, equity and outcomes in the healthcare system.

Jones Memorial To Open Neuro Infusion Clinic July 1

Jones Memorial Hospital recently announced plans to open a new state of the art infusion center at 7509 Seneca Rd N in Hornell, NY in the St. James Plaza. The new clinic location will open for patients in July of 2024 through a partnership with JMH and the University of Rochester Medical Center. The clinic welcomes two new providers to the region – Dr. Carlos Sollero of the Neurology Department and Dr. Vanessa Browne of the Rheumatology Department.

Jones Memorial Urgent Care To Open For Expanded Hours

On April 1, 2024, the Jones Memorial Urgent Care will begin expanded hours, opening its clinic seven days a week, from 11am – 7pm. Two new providers have joined the JMH Urgent Care team. Kerime Perese, NP and Jessica Lippa, FNP will join the team and provide almost exclusive patient care to the Urgent Care center.
