Abstract Image Representing Artificial Intelligence

The UR Health Lab draws on the knowledge of experts across a variety of fields, so we want to share as much of their knowledge as we can. Including videos on AI's future in healthcare to ethics training in the context of digital health, we've compiled resources to learn from and spark further curiosity.

Ethics + Digital Health

  • Introduction to Digital Health Ethics (recording and script/resource guide): Created and read by Jon Herington and Kevin Boyd, and produced by Mead Bowen, these modules introduce listeners to some basic ethical principles that are relevant to the design, development, and deployment of digital health tools.
  • Ethics Consulting Service: For more specific questions regarding a project or idea, Dr. Jonathan Herington (Assistant Professor, Department of Philosophy; Assistant Professor, Department of Health Humanities and Bioethics) and Rev. Kevin M. Boyd (Associate Director, Chaplaincy Services) offer their time and expertise.
