Affordability

Laser vision correction is usually an elective procedure, meaning you pay out-of-pocket for surgery. We offer exceptional value through our dedication to achieving world-class results, providing personalized customer service, and our unwavering commitment to helping you decide if LASIK or PRK is the right choice for you.

Fees for laser vision correction vary widely from practice to practice. When choosing a facility to reduce your dependence on contacts or glasses, we encourage patients to look at LASIK or PRK as a long-term investment in their future health and well-being. When investigating fees, look carefully and consider the following when making your choice:

  • Do fees cover post-operative care and any necessary medicated eye drops?
  • Will you be asked to purchase a "service contract" to reduce the cost of potential retreatments?
  • Are there hidden fees for different technologies used during your surgery?
  • Will your fee depend upon your prescription?
  • Is my surgical team 100% dedicated to laser vision correction
  • Will the practice performing my procedure be here 5, 10, 20 years from now?
  • How does this practice compare to other facilities

Independent sources say that annual out-of-pocket costs for contact lenses can range from $150 to $1,275. Quality fashion eyewear can easily exceed $500 per pair and may need frequent replacement from normal wear and tear. When considering the cost of LASIK or PRK, keep in mind that saving a few dollars up front might only be the cost of a year in contacts or glasses. So be sure to choose a facility that is invested in superior outcomes, achieving your visual goals, and safeguarding your long-term health.

Retreatments

If you require retreatment to improve your vision, there is no fee charged during the first two years after your surgery.

Methods of Payment

We accept Check, Cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover for your convenience.

Medical Spending Accounts

Many patients are able to be reimbursed for their surgical fee through Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) or Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) available through their employer. Both FSAs and HSAs allows you to pay for elective medical procedures with pre-tax dollars, saving you money. The main difference between an FSA and an HSA is that dollars banked in an HSA accrue over years whereas FSA dollars do not roll over and must be spent during the year in which they are allocated. Speak with your Human Resources department to see if you are eligible, and to your tax advisor to determine if this is a smart move for you.

Tax Deductions

The IRS ruled that LASIK is a tax-deductible medical expense. This ruling may give you an additional income tax deduction if you have LASIK performed. We suggest talking to a professional tax preparer if you have questions about what’s deductible
