Ambulatory Curriculum
The ambulatory curriculum is taught at our continuity clinic site, the Culver Medical Group.
We are excited about the transition to the block (X+Y) model for 2025-2026 as it will allow us to have a protected half-day teaching session per week when residents are on their ambulatory block.
These half-day sessions will include the following:
- Clinical topics in the primary care setting
- Ambulatory morning report (case-based discussions)
- Sessions on social determinants of health, professional development, mentoring, and the nuts and bolts of primary care
Current Curriculum
Morning Content
Currently, we have a morning board review session. Residents participate in these sessions from 8-8:30 am prior to their continuity clinic session. This is an interactive and collaborative review to support residents in their approach to the boards.
