Faculty and Clinician Wellness Series
Co-Sponsored by the Faculty and Clinician Wellness Program and the Office for Faculty Development
Improving physician wellness can benefit not only the individual physician but also can be vital to the delivery of high quality healthcare. There are several dimensions of wellness: social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, occupational, intellectual and physical. Approaches to improving wellness must include both individual and healthcare system approaches. This Wellness Series is part of the Faculty and Clinician Wellness Program launched in Fall 2015. Many faculty contribute their expertise and time to help improve the wellness of our university faculty and clinicians.
The Faculty and Clinician Wellness Series is a qualifying activity for the URMC Malpractice Premium Differential Program. Those who wish to qualify for the rate reduction need to attend 7 Sessions in the previous calendar year.
The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry designates each live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
