Social connections are essential for health. Connection Planning is a brief, evidence-informed strategy to reduce or prevent loneliness and isolation and increase connection and support. Dr. Van Orden (developer of the program) will describe rationale and procedures for Connection Planning and walk attendees through creating their own Connection Plan as a way to bolster their own health and well-being.
