Clinical Trials
Clinical trials are research studies that help doctors find new and better ways to prevent and treat diseases. Carefully conducted clinical trials are the most effective and safest way to find treatments that work. Search below to find clinical trials for urologic conditions currently being conducted at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Talk with your doctor to decide if a clinical trial is right for you.

Austin Jackson, CCRC – Clinical Trials Manager
Austin Jackson has a B.S. in Kinesiology from SUNY Brockport. She is a certified clinical research coordinator (CCRC) through ACRP, the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. She has worked in healthcare for more than six years, with more than four of those years dedicated to Urology. She has been a research coordinator in Urology for three years and was recently promoted to a Sr. Clinical Research Coordinator role within the department. She is BLS certified and recently began a two year term on the Genesee Staff Council at the University of Rochester. Her primary research interests are urological diseases and disorders and men's health.
Grace Bennett, CRC
Grace Bennett is the newest addition to our team of research coordinators. She earned a Bachelor of Science in bioengineering from Clemson University in 2022, where she developed a strong foundation in problem-solving and data management. Grace is passionate about accessibility, having participated in projects at Clemson addressing inclusion in academics and disparities in healthcare, and aims to bring this perspective to our work. She is excited to begin her career back in her hometown of Rochester.
Natalie Carroll, CRC
Natalie Carroll grew up in Buffalo, NY, where she first developed her interest in urology working as a medical assistant at local clinic. She became a part of the urology team as a procedural technician in 2021 and was promoted to a clinical research coordinator after achieving her Bachelor of Science from the University at Buffalo. Her work in building trust with patients, addressing their concerns, and providing a supportive environment in clinical research has helped inform her future goal of earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Beyond her professional pursuits, Natalie enjoys spending time with family (including those with paws) and tending to her plant collection.
