The Future Forward in Flow Cytometry - Seminar

Wednesday, November 30, 2022

CART's Flow Cytometry leaders, Timothy Bushnell, PhD and Matthew Cochran, will join 3 panelists from Cambridge University, the University of Chicago and the Van Andel Institute in presenting an exciting conversation on the evolution of flow cytometry, how it works, and how its technology has evolved to impact research discoveries and the development of new technologies.

This Zoom presentation is open to all and is hosted by the Association of Biomolecular Research Facilities (ABRF). It will close with a discussion on spatial flow cytometry and proteomics: the latest and newest era in the development of flow cytometry’s contribution to research.

The Future Forward in Flow Cytometry

Tuesday, December 6 / 11:00am - 1:00pm EST

Register here for the Zoom seminar: bit.ly/3XLetSv

Attendees will be able to learn about and ask questions on:

• The evolution of flow cytometry over the last 50 years
• How flow cytometry works
• Development and history of fluorochromes
• The evolution of spectral flow cytometry and its impact on developing new tools for research
• Applying spatial proteomics and flow cytometry together

NERLSCD Meeting Hosted by Tim Bushnell and John Ashton

Friday, August 26, 2022

The Northeast Regional Laboratory Staff & Core Directors meeting is coming to Rochester this fall and will be co-hosted by CART’s Timothy Bushnell, PhD and John Ashton, PhD.

The NERLSCD meeting has emerged as one of the best annual regional gatherings for core facility directors, managers, staff and administrators to network with colleagues, learn about biotechnology advances and applications, discuss the challenges faced in implementing shared research resources, and to share stories of success.

The event is open to anyone who would like to register and attend and takes place October 12-14.

Enjoy technical workshops, discussion forums, and a special event at the Rochester Museum & Science Center. Mingle with attendees representing academic core facilities spanning from North Carolina to Quebec.
