MOC For Residents
American Board of Family Medicine
If you are a resident or faculty member, the Residency Performance Improvement Program (ResPIP) allows you to receive PI Activity credit for meaningful participation in customized clinical performance improvement projects with a team of 10 or fewer family medicine residents or residency faculty in your Residency Teaching Practice. For more information, see https://www.theabfm.org/performance-improvement/respip
American Board of Pediatrics
The American Board of Pediatrics allows residents to bank credit for MOC Part IV activities. Generally, this means at the end of residency, upon passing the initial certification exam, residents become certified and enter into their first cycle of MOC activities. Any previously-banked credit is then added to their portfolio and counts towards their MOC requirements. For more information, see https://www.abp.org/content/moc-for-residents
American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
The ABPMR Board of Directors recently voted to allow residents and fellows to use a PIP completed during training for credit in the ABPMR Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program. For more information, see https://www.abpmr.org/NewsCenter/Detail/pip-for-residents
