A Faculty Development Program
Nina Schor, M.D., Ph.D., Ronnie Guillet, M.D., Ph.D., and Elizabeth McAnarney, M.D. have developed a novel, longitudinal mentoring program for faculty development. They have employed qualitative strategies for evaluation, revision, and improvement of the program. Ongoing assessment of faculty satisfaction with the program, outcomes expressed in terms of promotion, independent grant acquisition, national honors and invitations, and innovation and effectiveness in clinical and educational venues is critical to the success and evolution of this program. This project will be presented in an upcoming issue of Academic Medicine.
