Fellowship Research Highlights
So often, even those we train think of getting an M.D. degree as a gateway only to a clinical career. But getting an M.D. can be the start of a career in public service and advocacy, basic science of relevance to human disease, drug development and clinical trials, or education, to name just a few. Any of these can involve doing research of one sort or another. This issue of the URMC Pediatric Research Newsletter gives an example of each of these. And all of the examples come from projects done by Department of Pediatrics Fellows or recent Fellowship graduates during their two years of scholarly endeavor!
