Description
Learners participate as teams in simulated scenarios of neonatal emergencies on ECMO to develop their knowledge, patient care skills, teamwork and communication skills.

Learning Objectives
- Describe the indications for ECMO
- Identify the signs, symptoms and differential diagnosis of a neonate with cardiopulmonary instability on ECMO
- Identify and manage a neonate who experiences complications while on ECMO
- Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills
