Description
Learners participate in simulated family meetings during which they delivery bad news, disclose medical errors, discuss end-of-life care or establish patient goals-of-care.

- Demonstrate effective and compassionate communication skills when discussing difficult information with families.
- Develop strategies for communicating with families who exhibit different emotions and behaviors.
- Provide support and constructive feedback to peer colleagues on their communication skills.
