Dr. Yudina specializes primarily in abdominal surgery, with a focus on minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques, including diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies and, her passion, colorectal surgery.
She treats colon and rectal cancers, complicated diverticuloses, anorectal disorders ( hemorrhoids, anal fissures, anal abscess, anal warts), pilonidal disease, hernias, benign gallbladder disease, skin lesions, soft tissue masses, appendicitis, disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and other general surgical needs.
“Being a surgeon with great interest in colorectal surgery allows me to impact the lives of people suffering from conditions that are oftentimes difficult to discuss, and allows me to interact with patients from a variety of ages and backgrounds,” explains Dr. Yudina. “Cancer and inflammatory bowel disease are extremely challenging adversaries, but nothing is more gratifying to be able to say to a patient, ‘Your cancer is gone.’”
