Dr. Wang obtained his Ph.D. degree in Pathobiology from Kansas State University (KSU) in 2017 and finished his M.S. degree in Bioinformatics from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in 2023. He joined the lab of Dr. Korman in 2023. His research interests focus on 1.) the roles of CD47 in pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) using a TNF transgenic mice model and scRNA seq techniques, and 2.) the pathogenic roles of immature red blood cells in patients with systemic sclerosis patients and pulmonary arterial hypertension (SSc-PAH).
