Paula Ramirez, FNP Joins Bolivar Primary Care Team

Jones Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Paula Ramirez, FNP to the healthcare team at Bolivar Primary Care as of June 30.

Paula received her MS as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Utica University and her BSN from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is certified in Basic life support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). She is also a certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse.

Paula is a Jones veteran for the past five years and has worked ambulatory surgery, in addition to her previous experience as an RN for 17 years. Her experience spans med/surg, ICU, step-down ICU, and critical care. Paula brings a unique mix of experience and dedication to patient care.

Julie Seaman, Director of Medical Practices said, “We are excited to welcome Paula to the team in Bolivar. She is already such a huge asset to the Jones team and we look forward to witnessing her continued growth and development on the primary care team.”

At Bolivar Primary Care, the team is dedicated to offering comprehensive, patient-centered care, focusing on preventative health, chronic disease management, and overall well-being.

With the addition of Paula Ramirez, FNP, the office expands its ability to bring advanced healthcare to the local patient population in a comfortable and friendly environment. Paula is proud to serve our rural community stating, “My goal is to provide patient driven, quality care to underserved populations. I’m excited to work with the team in Bolivar to bring advanced care to our local community.”

Paula currently lives with her husband, Mike. During her free time, she enjoys traveling around NY.
