CEL Event & Classroom Support

Media/Technology Assistance is available during regular business hours (Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) for every day meetings, courses, grand rounds, etc. by submitting a trouble ticket through the Classroom and Event Scheduling Office, (585) 275-7666.

Request for 15-minute media run-through with media technician:

Requests should be submitted for first-time room users only and must be scheduled a minimum of 48 hours prior to your scheduled event. Schedulers will approve your request within 24 hrs.

CEL Event & Classroom Support for Live Events such as Conference, Symposium, Reception, Ceremony, etc.
The CEL Event & Classroom Support team cannot provide a technician to fully support a live event. All events requesting the support of an AV/Media technician should reach out to an external AV/Media company (i.e., Rip-n-Tear Media), for full event support.

Coordinated Services Required

Note: If you are serving food, we are required to schedule a Trash Out by the Environmental Services Department and there is a fee associated with this.

Note: SMD Environmental Services (EVS) hourly rate is $39/hour. There is a half-hour minimum charge for all services, per person, as assigned by the SMD EVS office. If you are cancelling your event/meeting, you must contact our office so that the trash out can be cancelled, also. If you do not cancel the reservation, you will still be charged for the trash out. Additional event furnishings, and/or receive assistance from a CEL Internal Event Coordinator:

Parking: Reserve parking at MRB or SRB.
Catering: See a list of Approved Caterers for University Events.
