Annual Tana Grady-Weliky, MD Lecture
The Tana Grady-Weliky, MD Lecture on Women and Diversity in Medicine is an endowed lecture established in 2011 to honor Dr. Grady-Weliky, former University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry Senior Associate Dean for Education and Department of Psychiatry faculty member. It is part of the Diversity Seminar Series and is held annually.
Dr. Grady-Weliky touched many students, residents, fellows and faculty through her dedication to medical education, her commitment to women and diversity in medicine and her passion for psychiatry. She strived for excellence in everything that she did. Dr. Grady-Weliky was nationally recognized as an expert in medical student education and in the treatment of women’s mental health disorders. We honor her memory and her indomitable spirit for education through this annual lecture.
The 2024 guest speaker is Dr. Michele Harper, an emergency medicine physician and writer. The lecture will be held on March 12, 2024 from 12-1 pm. For more information, please register for the event here.
