UR Medicine / Imaging / 3D Post-Processing Lab / Services / Abdominal Imaging Abdominal Imaging We offer CT of the abdomen/pelvis for: Dissection Renal donor Renal artery stenosis Therasphere/liver donor DIEP Runoff "Interventional radiology has evolved over the years and we perform wide rage of amazing procedures which have reduced the need for surgical procedures. With the challenging cases we do, there arise the need for the better planning of the cases for better outcome. We are so fortunate to have 3D lab to assist us in the planning of the cases, especially with interventional oncology and peripheral vascular diseases. 3D images generated by the lab assist us in planning cutting down procedure time and reducing complication rates. The data provided by 3D lab is integral to the calculation of the radioembolization dose for the Y90 procedures. Data from the lab is also used as a road map at the time of the angiographic procedures so that arterial catheterization can be done more efficiently. Technical success of procedures like BRTO, portal vein embolization and solid organ ablation is highly dependent on the anatomy of the organ which can only be accurately mapped by 3D imaging. In a nutshell, the success of interventional radiology is very much dependent on the availability of our 3D lab." - Dr. Ashwani Sharma, Vascular & Interventional Radiology Abdominal Services Image Gallery CTA abdominal aorta with aneurysm VR aorta and inferior epigastric arteries - planning of breast reconstruction VR and MIP of abdominal aorta with renal arteries for kidney transplant VR of calcified abdominal aorta with inguinal ligaments for TAVI planning Segmented liver with volume measurements for tumor ablation
