Fuel Pump Commissioning

Commissioning of the new fuel pumping equipment is occurring over the next several days and demolition of portions of the South Building continues.

Existing fuel tank removal and excavation for new tower foundations will start after the new fuel supply system installation is complete. This is anticipated to start the last week of March.

All of these activities are expected to create typical levels of construction and truck noise.

Fuel Pump Room and Fuel Tank Removal

Existing fuel tank removal and excavation for new tower foundations will commence upon start-up of the fuel supply system. This is anticipated to start the last week of March.

Fuel Pump Room work continues along the south side of the existing South Addition. Crews continue with the equipment fit out of the room. 

Selective demolition of portions of the South Building is ongoing. 

All of these activities are expected to create typical levels of construction noise and truck traffic.

Fuel Pump Room and South Building Demolition

Fuel Pump Room concrete work continues along the south side of the existing South Addition. Crews continue with forming, installing reinforcing and placing concrete at these locations.

Selective demolition of portions of the South Building is ongoing. 

Typical levels of construction noise and truck traffic can be expected with all of these activities.

Trench Backfilling and Fuel Pump Room

Installation of the underground fuel lines from the tanks to the Fuel Pump Room is now complete and backfilling of trenches is underway. Crews are also continuing to install reinforcing and place concrete in the Fuel Pump room and the concrete floor will be installed early next week.

Demolition of the two story portion of the South Building continues. 

All of these activities are expected to create typical levels of construction noise and truck traffic.

Tower Crane Foundation Installation

Installation of reinforcing for the Tower Crane foundation is underway. A small crane will be setting the anchors for the Tower Crane, then construction of the concrete pad will follow.

Fuel Pump Room concrete work is underway along the south side of the existing South Addition. Crews continue with forming, installing reinforcing and placing concrete at these locations.

Excavation and installation of the underground fuel lines from the tanks to the Fuel Oil Pump Room are underway and anticipated to continue through next week.
