No Work Memorial Day Weekend

No Work Memorial Day Weekend

There will be no construction work on site Saturday, Sunday, or Monday of this coming weekend due to the Memorial Day holiday.

During the week, crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The tower crane and buck hoist will both be used for activities on site. Crews will be fire proofing structural members on the 4th floor and installing framing on the 5th, 6th, 7th, and mechanical penthouse floors. They will also be working from boom lifts on the south and part of the east elevation to install the exterior framing and sheathing. Drywall top fill is being installed on the 5th and 6th floors for mechanicals and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins are being installed in multiple locations within the building.

Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. For the deep foundation work, any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.

Crews will be on site this Saturday 5/21 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Activities will include fire proofing structural members, framing and layout, and plumbing inside the building. Framing and sheathing will be taking place on the outside of the building.

During the week, crews will be using the buck hoist and tower crane to conduct activities on site. Interior and exterior framing will be taking place on the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors as well as the mechanical penthouse. Drywall top fill will be installed on the 5th and 6th floors. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough ins will be going in throughout the building. Swing stage scaffolding will be in use on the north and east sides of the building.

Crews will be on site 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday 5/14 continuing work inside the tower. Activities will include fire proofing structural members, framing, layout, plumbing, and duct work. Exterior work will include framing and sheathing on the north and south sides of the building.

During the week, crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Both the tower crane and buck hoist will be in use. Contractors will be fire proofing structural members on the 4th floor and the mechanical penthouse. Interior and exterior framing will be installed on the 5th, 6th, 7th floors, and the mechanical penthouse. Drywall top fill will be put in on the 5th and 6th floors. Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing rough ins are also being installed in multiple locations within the building. Roof demo and curb prep for the new boiler room directly above the 2nd floor south, west corner of the observation unit.

Starting tomorrow through next Friday, crews will also be on site working on an elevator in the main hospital parking garage. This work will be done on weekdays only, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will involve using a compressor which may create noise on the Rockingham St. side of the hospital.

Crews will be on site Saturday 5/7 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Work will include exterior framing and sheathing plus fireproofing structural members, framing and plumbing inside the shrink wrapped building.

During the week, the tower crane and buck hoist (temporary exterior elevator) will be used for construction activities onsite. Crews will be fireproofing on the 4th floor and in the mechanical penthouse. They will also be installing interior and exterior framing on the 5th, 6th, 7th floors, and the mechanical penthouse using the swing stage scaffolding and drywall top fill on the 5th and 6th floor for mechanicals. Roof demo and curb prep will be taking place for the new boiler room directly above the 2nd floor south, west corner of the Observation Unit.
