Ramp Demolition Weekends and Evenings
Starting Monday, May 10th, selective demolition of the ramp slab and foundations will be occurring on weekdays after 1 p.m. until dusk and on weekends from 7a.m. until 5 p.m. both Saturdays and Sundays. This schedule will be in effect from the 10th through May 23rd, when the majority of demolition work should be complete. Any remaining demolition in this area will then be finished on the weekends to minimize impact on patient care.
Due to the schedule change to the demolition, micropile installation will resume in early June and will continue for approximately 3 weeks.
Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. For the micropile and deep foundation work, any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.
