As stated in the previous post, demolition of the ramp slab and foundations will be occurring this weekend on Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Due to the schedule change for the demolition, micropile installation is expected to resume in mid-June and will continue for approximately three weeks.
Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. For the micropile and deep foundation work, any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.
Annual generator testing will also take place this weekend between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday. A load bank (the size of a small truck) will be parked on the construction site close to the building, and will be used to test the generators. The sound created will be about the level of a small engine.
