PGY-7
Timothy Hughes, MD is a native of the Lake George region in eastern New York. He attended Georgetown University for his undergraduate degree where he obtained his BS in chemistry. He went on to attend Georgetown University School of Medicine, and then completed his training in General Surgery at the University of Oklahoma – Tulsa. When not working, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, Clare, including cooking, trying new restaurants or pretending to watch her favorite reality TV shows. A former ski racer, he is an avid skier – and if not working in the winter time, expect to find him on one of the nearby slopes.

Dr. Mohamed Kamel Hussein is a native of Egypt. He attended Cairo University Faculty of Medicine and completed his training in Surgical Oncology at the Egyptian National Cancer Institute. After that, he served as an instructor of Surgical Oncology for an additional three years. Dr. Hussein developed a special interest in Thoracic Surgical Oncology and came to the United States to complete a three-year postdoctoral research fellowship followed by a two-year advanced Thoracic Surgery clinical fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Hussein completed his General Surgery Residency training in Michigan before joining the University of Rochester Medical Center for his traditional Thoracic Surgery fellowship training. When not working, Dr. Hussein enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys spending time outdoors and admiring the beauty of nature.
