Apeksha Chaturvedi, M.B.B.S., M.D. is an Associate Professor at URMC in the Department of Imaging Sciences and the Program Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at the University of Rochester. Dr. Chaturvedi completed her medical training at Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur, India, subsequent to which she completed her Diagnostic Radiology training and Pediatric Radiology fellowship at the University of Washington Medical Center and Seattle Children’s Hospital (SCH). Following her training, Dr. Chaturvedi stayed on at SCH for a year as an Instructor prior to moving to Rochester in 2012.
Dr. Chaturvedi joined the faculty at URMC in 2012 as an Assistant Professor in the Pediatric Imaging Section within the Department of Imaging Sciences. Dr. Chaturvedi specializes in the diagnostic imaging of neonates, infants, school age children and adolescents. Her focused expertise lies in the areas of body and musculoskeletal MR imaging, and in resident and fellow education within the field of Radiology.
Dr. Chaturvedi is an active member of the Society of Pediatric Radiology (SPR), Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS). She serves on several national committees. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.
