Overview
Ms. Corbett-Dick is dual certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and as a Psychiatric Nurse practitioner. She provides ongoing medical and behavioral support to children with a range of developmental delays and disabilities.
Ms. Corbett-Dick has worked at the University of Rochester for over 25 years, including serving as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics since 2006. Prior to this role, she gained experience working for adolescent medicine, general pediatrics, and community primary care. She is on faculty at the UR School of nursing, where she teaches graduate nurse practitioner students in both the Pediatric and Psychiatry-Mental Health Programs. She has interest and expertise in how families and professionals work together to make medical decisions.

- Works closely with children and their parents to promote and maintain both physical and mental health
- Provides individualized behavioral guidance and medication plans
- Assists families to work more effectively with their child
Patient Care Profile
Ms. Corbett-Dick’s approach to patient care is comprehensive and family focused. She approaches children and adolescents using a respectful and strength-based approach. She believes in promoting health, safety and wellness for the child within the family, school and community context. Promoting youth and parent participation in medical decision making is an important part of her approach. While she has expertise in the use of medication for challenging behaviors, she believes in addressing challenging behaviors in a multi-pronged approach.
