We continue to develop and design innovative programs for patients and their families, and for the communities we serve. Setting the Pace in Patient Care We are a leader in providing care for young patients with eating disorders. Due to our "Child and Adolescent Eating Disorder Program" we are recognized as a designated referral site for The New York State Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders of Western New York. We expanded our Adolescent Sexual & Reproductive Health Program to include Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC). Our Gender Health Program provides welcoming and affirming care for transgender and gender diverse youth, young adults, and their families. Research Helps Us Give Patients Solutions Our research demonstrated a need for transition services especially for adolescents with chronic conditions. We now have a clinic specializing in aiding youth with chronic illnesses, safely transition into adulthood. Adolescent Services in the Community Responding to community need, we provide adolescent services in community primary care pediatric offices, and collaborative physician services to Hillside Children’s Center and two school-based health centers in the Rochester City School District. The medical center formalized our Equity & Anti-Racism Action Plan (EARAP) to provide safe, welcoming, and caring experiences for every person in our community. Read More Services and Programs
