For Referring Physicians

How do I refer a patient?  The simplest way is to call the Wilmot Cancer Center’s new patient line at (585) 275-5823 and ask to speak to the doctor or specialist to whom you would like to refer your patient. Please feel free to use 1-866-4-WILMOT if the call is from out of town.

Or, you can send an email to WCICTOResearch@urmc.rochester.edu and put the specific cancer type in the subject line. Please include some information about the case and a preferred method of return contact.

In-network physicians can also use ViaOncology pathways to identify appropriate clinical trials and to contact Wilmot’s clinical research coordinators.

It takes an army of skilled doctors, nurses, coordinators and administrators behind the scenes to conduct clinical trials. Our team provides trial oversight, data management, regulatory and compliance oversight and guidance, quality control, budgeting, and other functions to track, audit, and manage all Wilmot Cancer Institute clinical trials.
